BOOK THREE in the HARP CURRICULUM series is packed with selections from every genre of music to challenge the enthusiastic student, and includes fingerings for most songs, as well as significant “notes to self”! Technical exercises for arpeggios, glorious chords, thumb and fourth finger slides, cool scales and rhythmic experiments, all deepen the student’s coordination. Rolled chords become second nature during this course of study, and increasingly complex arrangements of familiar tunes lead the harpist quickly along the path of learning. You may create a short composition of your own in each of the 3 Units!
In this volume are many original scores from Caroline’s own “playlist”, as well as selections from around the musical world – Celtic, Latin, Classical and Folk.

CAROLINE MACKAY, Harp & Song, creates a space where the mystery of HARP and the magic of VOICE become one. Tender CELTIC ballads, soul-stirring SPIRITUALS, lively LATIN rhythms, ORIGINAL works and CLASSICAL arrangements are all part of her diverse repertoire. She has recorded six full-length CDs of original music produced by her Indie Label, HIGH SPIRITS MUSIC.
Her initiatives in Curriculum development and Teaching have produced four Books packed with these selections, and two Video series to accompany them. Caroline currently offers Instruction and coaching in person in the Okanagan Valley, and ONLINE everywhere.
